About Us
Giorgea is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with over seven years of experience supporting clients across the lifespan. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and is licensed to practice in Washington, DC and Virginia. Her background includes work in outpatient clinics, home health, schools, skilled nursing facilities, and hospitals.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of New Hampshire and her master’s from West Texas A&M University.
Giorgea brings both clinical expertise and heart to her practice. She’s passionate about building strong relationships with her clients and delivering care that supports meaningful, real-life goals—from clearer communication to safer, more enjoyable meals.
Glossa Therapy was born out of a desire to create a more personal and empowering experience for clients and their families. We take a whole-person approach—supporting speech, swallowing, and executive functioning needs with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and evidence-based care.
